- Designing and operating our facilities and distribution systems to promote the efficient use of energy, resources, and pollution prevention principles to reduce environmental impacts in accordance with our policies; and protect the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and communities.
- Developing and producing products that can be manufactured, distributed, used, and recycled or disposed of in a safe, secure,
and sustainable manner. - Identifying and managing EHS impacts, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintaining effective response and preparedness capabilities to manage potential emergency and crisis situations.
- Ensuring EHS accidents, incidents, nonconformances, hazardous situations, and near misses are identified, reported, and investigated, and corrective actions are implemented.
- Assigning clear roles and responsibilities for maintaining and executing EHS policies, systems, and procedures.
- Providing appropriate EHS training to develop and maintain worker competencies.
- Conducting EHS audits to evaluate conformance to external and internal EHS requirements.
- Sharing our EHS policy, practices, and performance with interested parties – including our employees, customers, communities, investors, and others – to understand and address their expectations and respond to potential concerns.
- Promoting best practices for EHS in our industry.
